Yellow fish tryout and Valentines

Big day for little miss jo. Today she tried out for Yellow Fish (3yrs old and up) gymnastics class. This is for the bigger kids and the youngest they will allow is 2.5 yrs old (which she is TODAY!).  Its the big kids class because you have to be potty trained and independent. No parents are allowed in these classes. And she did GREAT! Technically she was better than some of the kids in the class. However every time she doesn't something and completes it she runs to coach mike to tell him she did it. LOL So we have to work on her staying in her spot and repeating her activity on her own. Once that happens I bet she gets bumped up to the Green Turtles pretty quick. I think the next evaluation is in June.

London had his first day of Next step to reading class. He really enjoyed the first class in this series. Its a class they go to another room so I can't get pictures of it. But he was reading his minibook when he got home and is doing really well. He just loves being able to read things!

Monday is sooo busy for us now. We have gymnastics (jo), then reading (london), and finally our Science (london) and at the same time Art (jo) classes. These last two are only for 2 months so we are half way done.  I was being sneaky and grabbed a picture of jo in her art class with a substitute teacher today. She made me a Valentine card, Dad a v-day frame and a v-day collection bag which should come in useful tomorrow for the party.

So speaking for party. Tomorrow the gang with have a Valentines day party! Any excuse for food and fun and we are in! Jo had no interest in making things so she is giving out snacks. London wanted tattoos and we made this cute little gift.....
