Some Grandma time!

Haven't got to see my Grandma in FOREVER.....but today she came down to Yankton and we went out to lunch and then did some shopping. I got 3 pairs of maternity shorts and a maternity skirt for the next couple months from another second hand store (all for $14!). Here is Grandma.....(or Great Grandma to the little bug!).....Obviously she is where my good looks come from ;)

Nic's Hamburger Shop

My old college roommate and Matron of honor picked me up today and brought me back to good old Brookings, SD (home of SDSU---NO NOT san diego state u LOL, South Dakota State Unv.). One of the good old places to eat is Nick's Hamburger Shop......they make these little hamburgers that are deep fried cooked---yummy!They just put the burgers in the bag-no individual wrapping...I had 5 delicious burgers!!!!

Let the Grandma-ness begin!

Grandma R. has been bugging me to go shopping for baby now for a bit. Well today I caved and this is the results......(NO we don't know the sex, I THOUGHT this stuff was Gender neutral LOL---here is hoping its a boy!)....

After party

Today I dragged Troy out of bed after a great night of partying to go to the gift opening party (yep *I* went to one finally) but in true Angela fashion I thought I would be bored so I gave a gift that would be more entertaining to watch be opened.....

We gave them money for a new TV for their house, however instead of a plan old card we decided to spice it up.....with a big old blue dinosaur pinata!!!! (filled with candy and toys of course with the check!)......that was fun to watch get opened!

Wedding Time!

Today was the big day! I got a brand new sister---who totally rocks by the way!

Rehearsal Dinner

Tonight was katie & jeremy's (my brother in law) rehearsal dinner....



Katie works at a school as a teacher and the German teacher gave her a plate for her "Ghost evening" (its the day before the wedding). How I was taught was everyone (bride and groom also) broke a porcelain dish (could be plates/bowls/cups/etc).... The saying is that "Shards bring luck/happiness". The couple cleans it up together, with the significance being that although life will bring difficulties and messes to clean up, you get through it by cleaning up together. Katie and Jeremy just broke one on their own (and I don't think helped clean it up). Me and my newest sister!Troy and I looking cute!
