His first book done

We are homeschooling for prek and we have really been enjoying our "explore the code" curriculum. Tonight we finished he first book of it " get ready for the code". He was supper proud of himself.

First trip to the dentist

London's first trip to the dentist went amazingly! He listened perfect and Weald sad to leave and even asked if he could come back later this week.  He got his teeth cleaned, polished, x-rayed, fluoride treatment and checked. While we were waiting to go in we read a kids book about hug a bug going to Greece. It taught us three Greek words and on the way out of the office London said thank and goodbye in Greek. What a show off! Oh and NO CAVITIES!!! 

Rawr!

London was very excited about his newest toy! I found these for a dollar so I couldn't pass them up. But I'm hoping to make some from a thick tree branch. But these will work for now. 

Happy Birthday London!!!!!

Well our perfect weather disappeared today and we ended up with clouds but the rain did hold off. So our laying by the beach didn't happen. Instead we found london a beach playground!

Also we couldn't find a regular birthday cake but the hotel was nice enough to provide us with one. Parabens means congrats in Portuguese which is how they wish you happy birthday... maybe a congrats for making it one more year!?! LOL I DID find a #1 candle though! The cake was SO SWEET troy nor I could eat it so london got a lick and that was it. We will try to do a re-do in Des Plaines when we get back...

First birthday gift

One of the guys (and his girlfriend) that troy has been working with for the last couple weeks got London a Birthday gift! First Let me say how refreshing it was to see the standard bag at the store was a picture of a baby breastfeeding!!! SUCH a nice change from the USA to see BFing being promoted instead of formula feeding <3
Anyway his gift was a Brazilian CD of Lullabies!

Artist

London grabbed a pen today and decided it was time to start drawing. I'm very excited by this because now I can start buying crayons/coloring books and not look like an weirdo.

An Apple a Day

Off day

landed at noon and since we didn't sleep much on the plane (well LONDON did but Troy and I didn't) we pretty much slept all day. But here is a video of london getting off the bed on thur, he just learned this new trick...

Moving to Brazil

London's favorite part of moving....the luggage cart! Its like he is worried we will not pack him up with us! LOL

Last supper

We Always make sure to have mexican food before leaving the country....because it seems like no matter where we are they can't do mexican food right. Caitlin and Matt decided to join us (they leave for India on sat)....   YEP london got his favorite black beans :D

Trains

London and I hit up the Barnes n' Noble bookstore today. He loved playing in the activity area.

Free Family Festival

We had to drop off our Brazil Visa applications today in Chicago. While we were there we came across the Target's Free Family Festival. It had tons of fun stuff for kids to play with and do. Even a couple for the little ones. London's favorite was the building blocks-

Big Boy potty!

We went out and got him a travel potty chair that we can take with us...

First full day in underwear!

First full day london wore only underwear (well bedtime is still a diaper). Here he is sporting the ones he got from Troy's parents while they were in Mexico.... Notice he is on the move all the time now so its getting harder to get shots of him! :D

New trick

London learned a new trick.... he now loves to stick out his tongue.

London's first haircut

Well it was finally time to cut the boy's hair, his bangs were on his nose and even he was brushing out of his face.

We have a walker!

London started walking today, apparently wanted to sneak it in for father's day. ...


And some walking in the pool a couple days earlier....

We have a water-walker

Well he was born in the water so its fitting that many of his firsts are in the water. But today we have a water-walker! So today we have a video!
