We Always make sure to have mexican food before leaving the country....because it seems like no matter where we are they can't do mexican food right. Caitlin and Matt decided to join us (they leave for India on sat)....   YEP london got his favorite black beans :D

Trains

London and I hit up the Barnes n' Noble bookstore today. He loved playing in the activity area.

Today we went canoeing on Fox river with Caitlin and Matt! London came with and "got" to wear his lifejacket all day. He did pretty good actually. I didn't bring my camera on the canoe for obvious reasons LOL. However after we went boating we did come back and play some cards, Spades!

Arlington Park apparently has the most famous racetrack (horse) in the midwest! So we HAD to see that. :) London got to see horses to that help justify the gambling hahaha. London and I won every race we bet on and one was 19:1!!!!

Tonight was a Blackhawks hockey game and the Williams had a little get together at their new place...

So I SUCK at Parallel parking, its a fact. However I totally rocked this parking today....

The eyes have it

Went to get my eyes checked out today, its been years since I went. Only thing new is that my prescription got worse since having a baby, which I was warned about. So now if I wanted to I could wear glasses but not bad enough I have to. So I may go get a cute pair if insurance picks it up :) Mary works at the Eye Dr so she squeezed me in and was nice enough to watch london during the exam part. Here I am sporting my cool post dilation shades :)

Baby's first bubble bath and dowtown

Troy had to drive downtown Chicago for work today so he picked us up to join his trip! We stopped at a nice German restaurant that Ben told us about-

Decided to try out some bubbles in our bath tonight. They were a hit! But then anything that allows him to stay in water longer is going to be a hit with him. :)

Well I could have taken pictures of the airports because I was in them so long today. LOL However my good friend Kyle was nice enough to pick me and london up and entertain us for the afternoon. I finally got to meet little Dominic!

Rainy Day

It was a good storm day! I know how one of my blog readers loves a good rain storm (Amy) so I thought I would snap a couple shots. :)

MAIL!!!

Today I got a few packages.
One package of receiving blankets/nipple butter for breastfeeding/baby sun hat. Second package was a amber necklace for baby's teething. Third package was two Wonder Wraps Diaper covers. And packages 4 & 5 were packages of tiny bubbles soap for cloth diapers that I got free on a blog giveaway. My newest bear is only for picture purpose!

Tuesday night special

Tuesday night is 40cents wing night at Buffalo's Wild Wings so we of course headed there...the boys (jason/troy) got into it. (love how troy's ears turn bright red with spicey food!).Then one of the customers there decided to sport the pulled up socks with shorts AND sandals!And finally on the way home we had to stop by and get a slushy and I found some pop rocks---Troy loves the sound, so I shared it with him :)

Chinese Cookie fortunes

Went out for some Chinese food today and when we got our cookies here was our fortunes....

Here is Troy's and we about died laughing since he is the one with all the pregnancy symptoms and is kind of miserable these days :DAnd here is our lucky numbers---we both had 22---wonder if thats a sign baby is coming on the 22nd?!

Practice makes perfect

Used a stuff bear to practice my fold techniques with my prefold cloth diapers (more the old school type diaper). It would have a cover on it if I was using for real...and thats a snappi on it (the "new" version of the pins)

Farmer's market

Stopped at the farmer's market today. They are much smaller here then they are in CO, and with a lot less options. But we got some nice fresh veggies.
