Out with the old.

We hav had this playhouse for about a year now. We only use it to climb on and since we now have the play set we are selling this.

Work work work

Today being the first Saturday of the month... London and I did Home Depot kids workshop. He made a bird bath. And after going every month for 8months they finally had aprons! We already put all the pins we could find on his once home.

Today was out first spring weekend day that didn't rain. So we jumped at it fr some house work. First I took apart and cleaned the outside a/c units. Then Troy and the neighbor finally finished the fence. 

We also finished putting the fort together.  Still needs a power wash and stain. But it's suppose to rain all tomorrow so no painting yet. Also trimmed the heck out of the neighbors tree/ bush that makes it's way into our driveway. And started working on the garage. But will not finish that for another day. 

Easter party

Today we got to watch mr Gavin! My kids loved it. 

That night the group got together and had a mini Easter party. Any excuse for a party! 

Something other than water.

Miss Jo only drinks water. She spits out juice and milk. So I was floored when she decided she wanted a drink of my smash burger shake. She LOVED it. She wanted more so bad she couldn't talk and reverted to her old sign language more sign! I gave her another drink and she put a death grip on the cup and drank half of it. I was very impressed she didn't get a brain freeze.

ITS ON Mosquitos!

Mosquitos love my hubby and kids as much as I do. Unfortunately for my family they have major reactions to the Mosquitos love nips. So this year I'm taking on the Mosquitos!!!! How?! Irate step---- plant mosquito repellent plants all over. Kids loved helping and we even got some snap dragons so the kids could make them "talk". 

Lemon grass (ugly smells great), citronella (ok looking smells ok), and marigolds (looks and smells good) apparently work as repellents. I let the lemongrass have it's own pot. I'm hoping it spreads well so I can sprawl it out more. 

The citronella and marigolds I combined so I could sit them in major line of site and by chairs. 

We ha leftover marigolds so we put them in some tins. And then te kids had snap dragons put in their little pots (going to have to move them I'm sure later).  Not pictures we re potted the aloe plants and ferns.

Before checking out we made time for one more picnic in the patio. 

Kountry Bakery is known for their kolaches. They are open m-sa and only from 5a-3p. So this was the first time we caught them open!!! And they are good!!!
