My last day here and so I thought I would just put some friendly faces up!

Cock Fight

Troy and some co-workers went to a cock fight today. He took one picture and this was it! I'm still working on how to get him to take actual pictures while out without me.

Good Friday in San Fernando (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

Today we spent the day in San Fernando to watch a re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It was REAL not staged, they do put nails through hands and feet. After the Play part is done there are other people who volunteer do be crucified also.

Cozy

Our local rides are meant for people more of the normal size and not us plus size Americans--here is troy getting out of one (good thing I will not be in my third trimester here-that would be a pain to get in and out of!) Oh and yes-BOTH of us fit in that cart--its a "cozy" cabin! LOL

John

So as many of you already know my FAVORITE song is John Lennon's Imagine. Well turns out its kind of popular here also! I hear it most karaoke nights and even see his pictures/signs up for it...

HAM!

Found ham slices at this little store on the way home tonight---yummy ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch tomorrow!

Sometime in the clouds you can see better.

So you can see the cross on top of Mt. Samet much better when its cloudy (the clouds block the mountain behind the cross so you can see it easier). Don't think I'm going to make it up there before we leave though.

Beach and the ladies (Subic, Philippines)

Got some beach time in today.And the hotel we were staying at had a Bikini contestAnd because Bikini contests aren't enough eye candy for the guys they were also doing a seperate photo shot for a calendar. (Men have it real rough here-ladies do you notice the two photo guys? Yeah no such thing as eye candy for me :( )

Floating bar in Subic

Well we went back to Subic for the weekend. We have a couple more people with us now so we had to show them a good time so we hit up the floating bar! (standing-Matt, Mike, Troy. Sitting-Me, Mez, Toyyab, Tom, Nestor)To get out to the floating bar we took a raft.

Yum...

Yep I can't get enough of McDonalds......specifically ordering fries and dipping them into my ice cream! YUM....

Daisies

Troy got be some pretty white daisies today...

Coloring

I am not sure why but I just had this urge to color today. So we went and got a big box of Crayola Crayons and a few coloring books and just went to town! We colored for hours it was actually pretty fun. I love the smell of Crayons! So when is the last time you colored?Troy was very proud of his work! :)

Treats

Mez (nickname of the new guy) rocked and brought me Sour Patch kids, rice crispy bars (thanks sara!) and some jelly beans. I think I like him more then Troy right now....just kidding honey!

The many uses of a tub

I got asked how I wash dishes after cooking in the room, well that's pretty easy to answer. The same way I do laundry at times....the tub! See this is one of the many reasons I can't live without a tub.

Whats better then flowers when pregnant?

Food! Troy brought me home a Shawarma! I LOVE these things. That trumps flowers in my book. :)

Cooking?!

We do a little cooking in our hotel room. We have a fridge and a hot place and a storage bin we use as a cupboard....And my dinner for tonight (in true pregnant fashion) Garlic mash potatoes with a can of corn and a ton of butter! YUMMY!

Belly Progression

Over half way done with this pregnacy and still no bump. Any day now!!!! And this picture was taken at the end of the day AFTER a big meal (this the largest my belly gets for now!)
