Not twin bing but close... ( also a magic potion and super powers!)
Well one of the down sides to living in Texas is they don't have Twin Bings. They are one of my favorite candies. However I found this little guy at the local Hobby Lobby and its almost spot on! I think the cherry ratio is higher but i'm not complaining.
Here is the original...
Also I got this magic potion started so it would be ready in a day or two. Anyone know what it is?
And my friend Jenn made both kids a cape! They loved them!!! Even had to hang them up in our closet.

Get your girl on, and some big muscles
I wasn't able to get a picture of her full outfit ;( but she was dressed up in a ballet outfit with skirt and of course her green rainboots! She also requested her hair to be done. So since I say this on pinterest the other day I gave it a try. Turned out ok. She is going to make me learn this girly stuff!
And not to be out done by his sister getting a picture for the day.... He requested this picture to show how strong he was with his big muscles. Lets hope he wants to take out the trash in 10 yrs!

Rub and zap
Today I got my Mother's Day gift. I had microdermabrasion and photo facial done. Wow they aren't kidding when the explain it like "snaps from a rubber band"... more painful than a tattoo. Can't really tell a difference, but i'm suppose to look forward to some skin sloughing...oh joy. I hope I look hot later :D Hopefully this thing goes away or gets lighter...oh the joys of getting old.

Also got a "love tap" from a new driver here in Houston a couple days ago. So I had to get estimates for the repairs... anyone want to guess how much? (looks like about $1300)
Since Troy changes to 1/2 days on fridays during the summer we all went out to lunch. Tried a new place and jo was a fan of the music so she put on my glasses and would get up and dance randomly throughout our meal.

Pinterest explosion.
I have been shopping and collecting like a mad woman for items to make a few pinterest items (www.pinterest.com for those who are wondering what it is). First on my list was this metal "wall". Its an oil drip pan that I primed and then spray painted yellow. I hung it up using those command removable strips...which just may be one of the best inventions of my life! I opted to hang it horizontal so that two kids could work on it at the same time. I painted it yesterday and today when it was dry I hung it up. London had a friend over and turns out 3 kids can play on it! It was a hit. If I was cramped for space I would use a big cookie pan. And in case your wondering what that moon thing on the light switch is....its a kidswitch. It allows london to turn the lights on and off. We have them in the toy room, his room, and all the bathrooms. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

Next on my list was these sponge balls. You cut up sponges the long way (4 strips per sponge), then tie together 6 of those pieces. I used floss at first but found it tore through a wet sponge and was hard to tie tight. Then I tried a small elastic hair tie...worked perfect. We even busted out the pool noodles with some neighbor kids and make a wet game of baseball out of the combo.

And for my last one of the day. A way to hide my house keys! After having to break into my house because the kids locked us out, I thought it would be best to have a key(s) outside. I remember seeing this project on pinterest for a geocache and I thought it would work perfect for my keys. I used epoxy glue to glue the rock to the medicine bottle's bottom. Then I dug a small hole in the yard and placed this on top. Its a little over bright because of the sun but as you can tell from the lower picture its now hidden well.

Gymnastics bonus
Every tue we have gymnastic class at Cypress Gymnastics Academy (two of the men's Olympics team 2012 train here!) . London does his own class, currently with Coach Mike. And jordan and I do the mommy and me class with Coach Karen. My iphone is not so great at photos in poor light places, let alone sports ones but you will get the idea.
Today london learned a new thing... "be tight". Coach mike had him lay down on the trampoline and tried to get him to stay tight like a stiff board. Then Mike bounces the trampoline hard so london is shot up in the air...and its pretty high! London of course loved this!!!! I have to admit I wanted to try also.
London has now mastered his "seat jumps". This is where you jump high then land on your butt and when you bounce up you have to land on your feet next.

In Mommy and me class we worked on back rolls. Jo is a little show off in class and catches on fast! I'm always surprised how well she does. (don't mind the yellow underwear, she has no butt and its hard to find leotards that fit a 20lber!).
So here she is doing back roll off the mat into the pit.

And here she is doing a back roll on the balance beam!!!! She needs a touch of help at the end but it seems she was made to do gymnastics.

First trip to the dentist
London's first trip to the dentist went amazingly! He listened perfect and Weald sad to leave and even asked if he could come back later this week. He got his teeth cleaned, polished, x-rayed, fluoride treatment and checked. While we were waiting to go in we read a kids book about hug a bug going to Greece. It taught us three Greek words and on the way out of the office London said thank and goodbye in Greek. What a show off! Oh and NO CAVITIES!!!

Very busy day.
Today was The Rapids (London's team) first soccer practice and game. The Rapids lost 0-9 but in their defense they scored two times, just wrong goal. Lol
I am slowly figuring out how to make a temporary water park in my backyard. Today we added the slip n slide, pool and the slide into the mix. It will be even cooler next time! Because I came up with better ideas. Anyone know of a soap I can use that would make bubbles but not kill the grass?
In the evening London went to parents night out at cypress gymnastic academy (were the kids go to classes at). And our friend Salley watched baby Jo. So Troy an I went to see oblivion. Not a bad movie! Forgot pictures though.
It was a busy day for us. While at soccer two of our butterflies hatched! Then while getting groceries another hatched. And while I put the food away another hatched. We have on cocoon left not sure if its going to make it though because its still a tan color where the others were dark.
